AttendMetric doesn't use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics. The only thing stored in your browser is a small amount of first-party localStorage data needed to keep the app working — mainly your session, so you stay signed in.

• Session token & account info — keeps you signed in between visits, so you don't have to log in on every page load.
• Theme preference — remembers whether you last used light or dark mode.
• Layout preferences — small UI state, like whether a sidebar is collapsed.

All of it is essential, first-party storage — set directly by AttendMetric, never by a third party, and never used to track you across other websites.

No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party tracking scripts, no cross-site cookies. We don't sell or share browsing data with advertisers because we don't collect any.

Cookie consent banners exist to get your permission before setting non-essential cookies — the kind used for advertising or analytics. Since AttendMetric only stores essential, first-party data needed to run the app, there's nothing non-essential to ask your permission for. If that ever changes — for example, if we add analytics in the future — we'll introduce a proper consent banner and update this page first.

You can clear localStorage at any time from your browser's settings — doing so simply signs you out and resets your local preferences. Since it's not used for tracking, clearing it has no privacy implications beyond needing to log back in.
