Delete Your Account

AttendMetric accounts are provisioned by your institution's IT-Admin rather than through self-signup — the same way a college-issued email address works. Because of this, deletion is requested rather than instant, and it goes through your institution or through us depending on your role.

• Students & Professors: ask your institution's IT-Admin to deactivate or remove your account. They can do this directly from the IT-Admin console. If you'd rather not go through your institution, email us at attendmetric@gmail.com from the address on your account and we will forward the request to your institution's IT-Admin on your behalf.
• IT-Admins & institutions: email attendmetric@gmail.com to request deletion of an institution's account or its data.
• External curriculum-feedback respondents (alumni or employers who submitted a response without an account) can request their response be removed by emailing us the form link they received.

Include the email address on your account and your college name so we can locate and verify the request quickly.

Once a deletion request is confirmed, we remove:

• Your name, email address, password hash, and profile photo.
• Your device's push-notification token.
• Helpdesk tickets, team messages, and file attachments you personally submitted.

Academic records — attendance, marks, results, and hall-ticket eligibility — are part of your institution's official academic record. Where your institution's own record-keeping or accreditation obligations (NBA / NAAC / NIRF) require it, these records may be retained in de-identified or institution-controlled form even after your personal account is deleted. This mirrors how a college retains its academic records after a student graduates or a professor leaves, independent of any one platform. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-retention policy.

We process verified deletion requests within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email once your personal data has been removed.
