Legal Agreement
Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 September 2026 · Applies to the AttendMetric web platform & mobile app
The Service
AttendMetric ("the Service") is a platform that lets educational institutions manage seat-verified attendance, timetables, marks, results, hall-ticket eligibility, and accreditation reporting (NBA, NAAC, NIRF) for their students and faculty. By creating an account, or by using an account provisioned for you by your institution, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Institutional Accounts
AttendMetric accounts are provisioned by an institution's IT-Admin, not through self-signup. Your institution (the "Institution") is responsible for ensuring it has the right to enroll you as a user and to provide us the information needed to create your account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact your institution's IT-Admin or us at attendmetric@gmail.com.
Attendance & Academic Records
Attendance, marks, results, and hall-ticket eligibility computed by AttendMetric are based on the seat check-ins, timetable, and marks entered by your institution's professors and IT-Admins. AttendMetric provides the platform and computation; your Institution remains responsible for the accuracy of the underlying academic data and for how it is used in official decisions (such as examination eligibility). Falsifying attendance or marks data, or attempting to check in from a seat you did not physically occupy, is prohibited.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including:
- Attempting to check in to a session from a seat or location you did not occupy.
- Sharing your login credentials with another person or checking in on their behalf.
- Uploading false, misleading, or falsified evidence, marks, or accreditation data.
- Attempting to access records, colleges, or accounts you are not authorized to view.
- Uploading content that is abusive, harassing, or unlawful.
- Attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or compromise the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
User-Generated Content
Parts of the Service let you upload content — profile photos, NAAC evidence documents, helpdesk attachments, team assignment submissions and materials, and broadcast images (institution Admins). You confirm you have the right to share any content you upload, and that it does not violate any third party's rights. Content visible to other users within your institution (such as team materials) should relate to legitimate academic use of the Service. We may remove content that violates these terms and may suspend accounts that post it. Report concerns to attendmetric@gmail.com.
Curriculum Feedback Links
Some curriculum feedback forms may be shared by an institution with alumni or employers who do not hold an AttendMetric account, via a one-time link. By submitting a response through such a link, you agree that your response may be used by the Institution for curriculum review and accreditation reporting purposes.
Liability
AttendMetric provides the platform used by your Institution to record and compute attendance, academic, and accreditation data. We are not responsible for decisions your Institution makes based on that data (such as examination eligibility or accreditation submissions), for the accuracy of data entered by your Institution's own staff, or for disputes between you and your Institution. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability.
Account Deletion & Termination
Because accounts are institution-provisioned, deletion is generally handled through your institution's IT-Admin. See our Delete Account page for how to request deletion, and our Privacy Policy for full details on data retention. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we may suspend an Institution's access for non-payment or breach of a separate institutional agreement, where applicable.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Gujarat having jurisdiction over any disputes, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
